His artist profiles and interview coverage support these main details. The birthday difference is explained below.
Hunxho Age and Birthday
Hunxho is 27 in 2026, based on the consistently reported birth year of 1999. His 2024 Freshman interview also listed him as 25 that July.
The exact date is less consistent. Apple Music and AllMusic list June 22, while Famous Birthdays lists June 20. Either date makes him 27 by October 2026.
If you only need his current age, that difference does not change the answer. However, a precise birthday should acknowledge the conflicting listings.
Hunxho’s Real Name
Hunxho’s real name is Ibrahim Muhammad Dodo. It appears in both his artist biography and his 2024 interview profile.
His stage name can confuse new listeners because of its spelling. The pronunciation is “Huncho,” as stated in his label’s promotional material.
That spelling is useful when searching for his music. It distinguishes his artist name from other performers using a similar nickname.
Where Is Hunxho From?
Hunxho’s artist biographies identify Greensboro, North Carolina, as his birthplace. His professional identity, however, is closely connected with East Atlanta. His label describes him as an artist from Atlanta’s east side.
Those details answer two different questions. Greensboro identifies where he was born, while Atlanta describes the place he represents in his career.
So, calling him an Atlanta rapper does not require changing his birthplace. Both locations belong in a clear account of his background.
Atlanta’s Place in His Music
Hunxho’s label presents his music as drawing on the experiences and hardships that shaped him. That connection appears throughout his Street Poet identity and later releases.
His 2023 project 22 also connects with his Atlanta background. Its title refers partly to a former Atlanta address and his age when signing his recording contract.
For you as a listener, this gives the title more context. It represents personal milestones rather than simply naming an album after a number.
Early Interests and Starting Music
Before his recording career developed, Hunxho played basketball in high school. His biography also describes time in Colorado for college before focusing on music in Atlanta.
His early songs began appearing around 2017. Releases such as True Story and Street Poet followed before his larger breakthrough.
That history shows a career built through multiple projects. His public relationship headlines came much later than the beginning of his music.
“Let’s Get It” and His Breakthrough
“Let’s Get It” became an important breakthrough in 2021. The song gained attention and later received a remix featuring 21 Savage. Hunxho subsequently released Street Poetry through 300 Entertainment in 2022.
The collaboration gave new listeners a direct introduction to him. It also became one of the releases highlighted in his later professional profiles.
His next projects helped extend that attention. Rather than relying on one song, he continued releasing music across different themes.
For Her and “Your Friends”
Hunxho released For Her in 2023, moving further into relationship-focused music. The project became his first entry on the Billboard 200.
“Your Friends” became a central song from this period. A version featuring Summer Walker followed in February 2024, adding another established singer to his collaborations.
This part of his catalogue helps explain his appeal beyond street rap. The songs make space for romantic frustration and vulnerability alongside his earlier subjects.
Hunxho’s Music Style and Influences
Hunxho combines rap verses with melodic vocals. His songs often move between difficult experiences and emotional relationships. You can hear those different directions across Street Poetry and For Her.
In his 2024 interview, he named Tupac Shakur, Anthony Hamilton and India Arie among his influences. He explained his interest in music that carries feeling.
Those choices give some context to his sound. His influences include both rap and soul rather than only one style of music.
Career Progress in 2024
Hunxho joined the 2024 XXL Freshman Class, a notable milestone for his growing career. His interview discussed developing his flow and continuing to improve his music.
He released Thank God on October 18, 2024. The album included guests such as Don Toliver, Fridayy, Lil Durk and Mariah the Scientist.
These developments gave listeners several ways to follow him. There were new collaborations, a major interview feature and another full-length release.
Hunxho’s Latest Documented Music in 2026
Hunxho released Not One of Them on February 6, 2026. The project contains 12 tracks, including “Stone Cold” featuring G Herbo.
It followed his 2025 projects For Us and For Her 2. The 2026 release announcement described a return toward street-focused material after the For Her period.
This gives the article a current career milestone. His story in 2026 includes new music rather than only older songs and dating coverage.
Hunxho Net Worth in 2026
Hunxho’s net worth has not been reliably confirmed. Some biography websites publish estimates between $1 million and $5 million, but they do not provide enough financial evidence to verify that range.
His career includes recording releases and live performances. His label’s 2024 material also documented touring and a sold-out Atlanta show.
Those achievements do not reveal his personal profit. Streams, ticket sales and recording contracts involve costs and revenue sharing, so they cannot establish his wealth alone.
Hunxho and Keyshia Cole
Hunxho and Keyshia Cole publicly confirmed their relationship in 2024. Reporting that May included his response to questions about whether they were together.
By March 2025, Cole’s comments about being single prompted reports confirming their split. That is an important update when reading articles written during their relationship.
A verified current relationship for Hunxho was not established during this research. Their earlier romance should therefore be described with dates rather than presented as ongoing.
Hunxho Affairs and Gloss Up Headlines
Hunxho also made headlines after appearing in Gloss Up’s “Come Here” music video. Photos from the production led to public exchanges involving Cole in May 2024.
The coverage included personal claims, but a music video appearance alone does not prove an affair. It is important to separate the documented collaboration from disputed relationship details.
There is no dependable basis for turning those headlines into a complete list of affairs. The clearest confirmed relationship covered here is his past romance with Cole.
